Welcome to Impromptu Wine Bar Cafe, featuring great wines, cocktails and sumptuous meals from around the world.

Each season, we focus on a specific wine producing region of the world, selecting wines for character and value.  Executive Chef Dan Ahern then creates menu items matched to the wines, providing our guests with an inspired fine dining experience.

For our guests who want something other than wine, we have a full bar, a selection of international beers, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages.

Chef Dan has created a yet another wonderful menu, selecting the most fresh and flavorful foods for his creations. The menu is sumptuous, and every meal is designed to offer up tastes that are unique and exciting.

"I cook with only fresh ingredients, what is in season and available in Seattle, in the moment. Creating dishes from cuisines around the world gives me a chance to learn, continuously, about food. Food is my passion. It is also a language that everyone in the world speaks. I also love cooking food that is gluten-free, or working with customers who have food restrictions, because I can offer a great meal to people who have felt tentative about eating in restaurants.
Food is more than a necessity of life — it is a sensory pleasure. Eating is a way to feel alive. I cook because good food gives people joy."
